Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how bleam uses cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies on the bleam website and dashboard. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Consent and legal basis
In Germany, storing information on your device or reading information from it generally requires consent unless the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you requested. We ask for consent before enabling optional analytics storage. Necessary storage is used without consent because the website, login, security, payment flow, and your cookie preference cannot work reliably without it.
2. Necessary storage
We use necessary cookies or localStorage for:
- keeping you signed in through Auth0;
- security, fraud prevention, and session integrity;
- remembering your cookie choice;
- routing you through Stripe Checkout or the Stripe billing portal; and
- remembering product settings you choose in the dashboard or extension.
These are not used for advertising and are not optional in the cookie banner.
3. Optional analytics
If you choose “Accept analytics”, we enable PostHog product analytics on the website and dashboard. PostHog may store an identifier in your browser so events from the same browser can be linked. We use PostHog’s EU infrastructure and do not use analytics for advertising or cross-site profiling.
If you reject analytics, PostHog browser capture remains opted out and analytics storage is disabled for this website.
4. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings, though this may sign you out or reset preferences.
